Relief Project
for Children of Rohingya Refugee Families (IRP-CRRF)aged
0-5 years in Bangladesh
and in the border area
The first stage:
The first stage of the relief project for the children
of the Rohingya Muslims IRP-CRRF in the Tombro
camp in the border area between Myanmar and Bangladesh
was funded entirely by the ICIC entitled "Relief from
the Nation to the Nation by the Ummah Foundation, the
ICIC " in cooperation with the Bangladesh Red Crescent
Society. Under the supervision of Mr. Omar Tasli, ICIC
Regional Representative for the North Asia and Europe,
accompanied by Mr. Ikram Alhay Chowdhury, Director of
Population Movement Operations Department, and Mr. Noron
Nabi, Field Officer, Population Movement Operations
Department (Cox Region Bazaar) from the Bangladesh Red
Crescent Society. The delegation oversaw the
distribution of relief packages for the children of
Rohingya refugees in the Tombro camp in the border area
(neutral territory) between Bangladesh and Myanmar, as
previously agreed with the camp leadership and border
authorities over the target number in the first phase is
(1000) children aged 0-5 years.
The first stage of the IRP-CRRF on the Bangladesh
border has been successfully implemented in cooperation
with the Bangladesh Red Crescent Society and thanks to
the efforts of camp leaders, military authorities and
border security of Bangladesh and the local population,
in the arrangements for the implementation of the first
phase of the relief operation for IRP-CRRF in
the Timboru camp in the border area between Bangladesh
and Myanmar.
The second phase :
Because of the urgent need for food aid for children in
the visited refugee camps of Rohingya, Hakimpara and
Tumbro, which are not covered by other humanitarian
assistance and that there is a need for food support for
at least three months, Annex) to provide food support to
children in these camps because there are no
organizations working there, especially for children
aged 0-10 years who are treated and need special
nutritional supplements after treatment to reduce the
loss of life of these children. "This project has been
circulated on some collective The Red Crescent Society
and the Red Cross Society. The Kuwait , Bahrain ,
along with a number of Bahraini charities, Turkey , the
Iraqi, the Senegal and the International Islamic Relief
Organization in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, in addition
to the General Secretariat of the Arab Red Crescent and
the Arab Red Cross. The agreement was signed between the
ICIC and Kuwait in March, and the invitation is open to
all Societies and humanitarian organizations to join
this humanitarian project as you can, and will remind
them that in the literature of this project.
